Pizza Sauce

2 16 ounce cans tomatoes, cut
1 small onion, minced
1 small can tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt, pepper, chili powder, dried basil to taste
In a medium kettle, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil over a medium heat.
Add tomato pieces. Add tomato paste and water equal to can size of tomato paste.
Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
Lower heat and simmer 30 minutes. Add spices.
