Olive Garden Italian Salad Dressing (Well kinda close)

Ingredients

• 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
• 2 1/2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
• 2 tablespoons dry pectin
• 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
• 1 pinch dried oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup corn syrup
• 2 tablespoons Egg Beaters egg substitute
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

The following is another recipe that is on the net that purports to be close - but isn't as good as the one above.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 tsp vegetable oil
2 Tablespoon corn syrup
2 Tablespoon Parmesan cheese
2 Tablespoon Romano cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 Table. lemon juice

Olive Garden Salad Mix:
1 bag American blend Dole Salad
4-5 slices red onion
4-6 Black olives
2-4 Banana peppers
1/2 cup croutons
1 small tomato, quartered
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a blender or processor until well blended. If this is a little too tart for your personal taste, please add a little sugar.
